About Us

Founded in 2021, Perfect Ballers Association (PBA) is a Melbourne-based community sports organisation created to bring people together through accessible and inclusive sporting experiences. What started as a small basketball initiative has grown into a multi-sport platform with over 6,000 active members across a range of sporting programs.

PBA delivers structured leagues, social competitions, festivals and development programs across sports including basketball, badminton, table tennis and more. Our participants come from all walks of life, with a strong representation of international students, young professionals and community members who are new to Australia or simply looking for a place to belong through sport.

 

Our Mission

At our core, PBA exists to do more than just run games. We focus on connection, inclusion, and wellbeing, using sport as a bridge to build friendships, support mental and physical health, and help people integrate into the wider community. We work closely with universities, government bodies, venues, and partners such as Study Melbourne, UniSport Australia to deliver programs that are welcoming, low-barrier and high-impact.

 

Opportunities With Us

Beyond participation, PBA is also committed to pathways and development. We provide internships, volunteer opportunities, paid roles and leadership experiences for students and young people interested in sports management, events, marketing and community engagement. Many of our staff and supervisors began their journey as players, a reflection of our belief in growing from within.
