Victorian International Student Sport Festival (VISSF)
Following the success of the 2025 festival, the Victorian International Student Sports Festival (VISSF) will return in 2026, taking place on Saturday, 4 April at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) in Albert Park.
The 2025 festival brought together 470 international students from 26 nationalities, representing 12 universities across Victoria. Hosted in partnership with UniSport Australia, the event delivered a vibrant, free day of sport, culture, and community, complete with free food, music, and connection.
Featuring 3×3 Basketball, Social Badminton, and the newly added Table Tennis, VISSF 2025 saw remarkable participation:
- 221 players in Social Badminton
- 30 students in Table Tennis
- 219 players in 3×3 Basketball (across 45 men’s and 5 women’s teams)
VISSF continues to celebrate the diversity and spirit of Victoria’s international students, promoting inclusion, connection, and cultural understanding through sport.
